Host City Decision Expected by End of July as Four Cities Submit Bids
BNT has launched the official Eurovision 2027 host city bidding process. Sofia, Burgas, Plovdiv and Varna are in the race: the decision is expected by end of July 2026.
What this site does
On 16 May 2026 in Vienna, DARA won the Eurovision Song Contest with "Bangaranga". 516 points, a record 173-point margin, and Bulgaria's first victory since its debut in 2005. The 71st contest therefore comes to Bulgaria, and on 12 August 2026 the EBU and BNT named Burgas and Arena Burgas as the host.

What is confirmed and what is not
Confirmed by the EBU and BNT: the venue is Arena Burgas, the Semi-Finals are on Tuesday 11 and Thursday 13 May 2027, the Grand Final is on Saturday 15 May, and two preview shows precede each live show. Only people with a free Eurofan account will be able to buy tickets.
Not confirmed: the ticket sale date, the ticketing partner, ticket prices, the hosts, the slogan, the full list of participating countries, and the Eurovision Village programme. Everything on this site that touches those topics is labelled as an estimate and dated.
